NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS OF THE TOWN OF JAMES ISLAND FOR THE ADOPTION OF FEES FOR THE FOLLOWING: 1) RENTAL FEE FOR PINCKNEY PARK PAVILION; AND 2) ESTABLISHMENT OF STORMWATER FEES.
The Town of James Island Council will hold two Public Hearings at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Town Hall, located at 1122 Dills Bluff Road, James Island (in person versus virtual meeting is subject to change) The first is a Public Hearing for the establishment of fees for the Pinckney Park Pavilion and the second for the establishment of Stormwater fees in the Town.

James Island Town Council voted at their meeting last night not to extend Emergency Ordinance 2-2020. This ordinance deferred collection of the Hospitality Tax receipts, suspended enforcement of the Single-Use Plastics Ban, and closed the park playgrounds and restroom facilities.
As of June 19th, Pinckney Park and Dock St. facilities are open to the public.
Emergency Ordinance 3-2020 allowing for electronic meetings was extended thru July 16th.

Town Council will meet tonight for its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the James Island Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road. A Public Hearing on the Town's 2020-2021 Annual Budget will be held at the beginning of the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Social distancing will be adhered and face masks are recommended.
