Job Description

General assistance in the Facilities Department to perform a variety general labor duties to support the operation and appearance of Town facilities and properties. This position assists with routine maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, and other duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position will assist with job tasks as needed in other departments of the Town. Hours: 25-30 hrs. per week, M-F.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Town grounds, parks, and facilities. 
  • Assist with landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, and debris removal. 
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively. 
  • Assist in other Town Departments as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid State of South Carolina Driver’s License.
     
  • Benefits Include:

  • Salary $20.00/Hr.
